When you design architecture, the thematic layers of a special design approach, are usually based on a linear background of given knowledge trying to expand your experience and imagination. In this case the design of the four villas had already a given background cause of the panoramic views of the ancient site of Amathus and the vast expanses of the blue Mediterranean sea.
The villas are founded on massive stone walls, material that creates a connection between the building and the character of the area. On top of this, simple volumes are placed, creating a closed monumental entrance to the street side, giving the appropriate privacy. Transparency is the element that is used to thesouthern side, the important direction. Villas are framing the panoramic views, the Amathusa Coastal experience.
The development unfolds amphitheatrically pitched towards the view, with landscaped gardens and a swimming pool. White colour and wood also recall the sea presence.
